Copyright and License Statement

Authors publishing in Arshaka: Social Sciences and Education agree to the following terms:

  • The copyright of each article remains with the author, while the journal is granted the right of first publication. This work is simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which permits others to share, adapt, and build upon the work — provided proper attribution is given to the original author(s) and to the journal where the article was first published.
  • Authors are permitted to enter into additional non-exclusive distribution agreements for the published version of the article (e.g., posting to institutional repositories or including it in a book), with the condition that the original publication in Arshaka: Social Sciences and Education is properly acknowledged.
  • Authors are encouraged to disseminate their work online (e.g., via institutional repositories or personal websites) both before and during the submission process, as this can lead to productive academic engagement and increased citation of the published work.

 

Publication License

All content published in Arshaka: Social Sciences and Education is protected under international copyright and intellectual property laws. This journal adopts the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) as its preferred publishing framework, which permits distribution, reuse, and modification of scholarly work—including for commercial purposes—provided appropriate credit is given.

This license requires:

  • Attribution to the original author(s) and Arshaka: Social Sciences and Education
  • A link to the license
  • Disclosure of any changes made
  • Sharing of derivative works under the same license terms

 

Author Warranties

By submitting a manuscript, authors affirm that:

  • The work is original and authored by the listed contributors
  • The work has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere simultaneously
  • The work does not contain unlawful content or violate the rights of third parties
  • Copyrighted material from other sources has been properly cited and permission obtained if necessary

 

User Rights

Under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, authors and users are free to:

  • Copy, distribute, and share the work
  • Adapt or modify the content for any purpose, including commercial use
  • Provided that appropriate credit is given and derivative works are shared under the same license

 

Author Rights

Authors retain the following rights:

  • Full copyright ownership
  • The right to reuse the article in future works, such as lectures, books, or derivative research
  • The right to reproduce the article for personal or educational purposes, as long as it is not sold
  • The right to self-archive the article in institutional or other repositories

 

Co-Authorship

If the submission is a collaborative work, the corresponding author confirms that all co-authors have agreed to the terms of this agreement and have authorized the corresponding author to act on their behalf.

 

Termination Clause

This agreement may be terminated by either the author or Arshaka: Social Sciences and Education with two months' notice, provided that the other party has materially breached its obligations and has not remedied such breach within 30 days of notice. Termination does not automatically revoke the granted license unless stated otherwise.

 

Royalties and Compensation

No royalties or financial compensation will be paid to authors for the use of the article by Arshaka: Social Sciences and Education or its licensees. By entering this agreement, authors waive the right to claim such fees to the extent permitted by law.

 

Final Provisions

Arshaka: Social Sciences and Education reserves the right to make stylistic or editorial changes to align with journal standards in spelling, grammar, or formatting. Once an article successfully passes peer review and editorial processing, it will be published openly at no cost to the author. The journal also retains the right to sub-license the content under the same licensing terms.
