Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Arshaka: Social Sciences and Education must adhere to the journal's focus, scope, and author guidelines. Submissions must present scientific value or novelty that aligns with the journal’s aims and scope. The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not meet the thematic relevance or do not comply with the Author Guidelines.
All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. Authors are strongly encouraged to use plagiarism detection software to check for similarities prior to submission. Editors will also screen submitted manuscripts using Turnitin to ensure originality.
Research articles submitted to this journal undergo a double-blind peer review process. The quality of the peer review is ensured through a rigorous and anonymous evaluation by at least two independent reviewers for each main manuscript. Reviewers provide valuable scientific feedback aimed at improving the quality of the manuscript content.
The final decision on article acceptance is made by the Editor, on behalf of the Editorial Board, based on the reviewers' comments.
Article publication, including the order in which articles appear, is determined by the Editor-in-Chief, considering the acceptance date, geographical distribution of authors, and thematic relevance of the issue.
Review Outcomes
Based on peer review feedback, the Editor will make the final decision regarding publication. The review process typically takes 1 to 4 weeks. Possible editorial decisions include:
- Rejected: The submission is not suitable for publication, and the authors will not be given the opportunity to resubmit a revised version to Arshaka.
- Revision Required: The submission may be considered for publication after substantial revisions and will be subject to a second round of review.
- Accepted with Revisions: The manuscript is accepted conditionally and will be published after minor or major revisions are completed. Editors will verify that the necessary changes have been made before publication.
Accepted: The manuscript is accepted in its current form with no further modifications required. Once reviewed, all relevant information will be communicated to the authors. Within one or two weeks, authors must finalize and submit the final version of the article to the Editor. If the final version is not submitted within this period (or the Editorial Board is not informed of a delay), the manuscript will be considered withdrawn.
