Authors publishing in Primary Education Insight agree to the following terms:

  • Authors retain copyright of their work, while granting Primary Education Insight the right of first publication. All articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which permits others to copy, adapt, and build upon the work for any purpose—including commercial use—so long as appropriate credit is given to the original authors and to the journal as the first place of publication.
  • Authors may establish additional non-exclusive distribution agreements for the published version of the article (e.g., deposit into institutional repositories or inclusion in edited volumes), provided that proper acknowledgment of its original publication in Primary Education Insight is included.
  • Authors are encouraged to disseminate their work online (e.g., via institutional repositories or personal websites) both before and during the submission process, as this can enhance visibility, foster academic dialogue, and potentially increase citation impact.

 

License to Publish

All content published in Primary Education Insight is protected under applicable international copyright and intellectual property law. The journal adopts the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) as its standard licensing model, enabling users to reuse, distribute, and adapt the published work—even for commercial purposes—provided that proper attribution is given.

 

This license requires:

  • Clear acknowledgment of the original authors and Primary Education Insight
  • Inclusion of a link to the license
  • Disclosure of any changes made to the original work
  • Sharing of derivative works under identical licensing terms

 

Author Warranties

By submitting a manuscript to Primary Education Insight, authors confirm that:

  • The submitted work is original and authored by the individuals listed
  • The manuscript has not been previously published or submitted concurrently elsewhere
  • The content does not infringe upon the legal rights of third parties and does not contain any unlawful material
  • All third-party copyrighted material used in the manuscript has been properly credited, and necessary permissions have been obtained where required

 

User Rights

Under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, both authors and users are entitled to:

  • Copy, share, and distribute the content freely
  • Modify or build upon the work for any purpose, including commercial use
  • As long as appropriate attribution is given and any derivative works are licensed under the same terms

 

Author Rights

Authors maintain the following rights:

  • Full ownership of the copyright

Co-Authorship

For manuscripts submitted by multiple authors, the corresponding author affirms that all co-authors have agreed to the terms outlined in this agreement and have authorized the corresponding author to act on their behalf.

 

Termination Clause

This agreement may be terminated by either the author or Primary Education Insight with a written notice of two months, provided there is a material breach of obligations and the issue is not resolved within 30 days of notification. Termination does not nullify the granted license unless explicitly stated.

 

Royalties and Compensation

No royalties or financial compensation shall be provided to the author for publication in Primary Education Insight or for the reuse of the article by the journal or its sublicensees. By agreeing to these terms, authors waive any claims to such compensation to the extent permitted by law.

 

Final Provisions

Primary Education Insight reserves the right to make editorial or stylistic adjustments to conform to its standards in spelling, grammar, and formatting. Upon successful completion of peer review and editorial processing, articles are made freely accessible to the public. The journal also reserves the right to sublicense the content under the same Creative Commons licensing terms.
